Ever since I was young, I loved making things. Whether it was drawing, creating, or coming up with new ideas, I always enjoyed turning something simple into something meaningful with my own hands.

At the beginning of 2026, I decided to start painting. What began as curiosity quickly became a true passion. Painting gives me the freedom to express myself, experiment with colors, textures, and shapes, and create pieces that bring me joy every day.

Over time, my passion has grown beyond painting on canvas. I want to create objects that people can use and enjoy in their everyday lives. From handmade plates and ceramic bowls to decorative pieces and unique home accessories, I love exploring different materials and finding new ways to create.

For me, every piece is different. Some are made to add warmth to a home, others to spark a memory or simply make someone smile. My goal is to create work that feels personal and allows everyone to find something that connects with them.

This is only the beginning of my journey, and I'm excited to keep creating, exploring, and sharing my work with people around the world.

My name is Boaz Gisolf. I am 20 years old and based in the Netherlands.

Ever since I was a child, I have always been drawn to creating. Whether it was sketching characters, recreating something I had seen, or inventing my own ideas, I simply loved to draw. It didn't really matter what I was drawing as-long as I had a pencil in my hand, I was happy.

As I grew older, my focus shifted almost entirely to football. I played for many years, including several seasons at a high level. The sport became such a big part of my life that, for a long time, it defined who I was.

When I eventually stepped away from football, I found myself asking a question that had never really crossed my mind before:

Who am I beyond the game?

For the first time, I had the space to discover what truly inspired me outside of sport. During that period, I naturally found my way back to drawing. What started as a familiar creative outlet slowly evolved into painting, and eventually into the abstract works I create today.

Looking back, I don't see art as something I discovered. It was always part of me. I simply had to find my way back to it.

Today, every piece I create is an extension of that journey. My work is driven by emotion, texture, and the belief that art has the ability to communicate feelings that words often cannot.

At the heart of my work is one simple idea: peace of mind.

My art is inspired by the search for inner peace in a world that is constantly moving. Through colors, shapes, and characters, I want to create work that encourages people to pause for a moment and clear their minds.

Every piece is open to interpretation. I don't want to tell people exactly what they should see or feel. Instead, I hope my work allows everyone to connect with it in their own way and discover something personal within it.

For me, creating art is about freedom, expression, and finding balance. If my work can give someone even a brief moment of calm, reflection, or joy, then it has fulfilled its purpose.

That is what I stand for.
